Need help, where is oil temperature sensor located?

Hi guys,
I have 2012 Volkswagen Passat TDI. I am trying to figure out where is the oil temperature sensor g509 located? Is it inside the transmission, meaning you have to take apart the tranny to change it? Is it on the housing exterior? Any pictures, diagrams and information would be highly appreciated.

Please provide me with diagrams or actual links to whatver can point the location of G509. I tried the link you told me, and it is asking for subscription. Registration is free, but anything else you click on you need to pay for a pdf. I am greatful for gour help, but really do not want to subscribe to anything at this moment.
