The VCDS SRI 'button' is a useful tool between services, as you can select it, watch the Instrument panel channel values being read quickly and seeing the table of values displayed. Then you cancel the reset you've invoked, but you have a text log of the value table, I believe, in the Debug folder. :)

For example [a slightly modified recent sample from my A8]:
Code:
Monday,15,July,2019,20:36:13:53697
VCDS Release 19.6.1: SRI Reset-SRI1.CLB -- Data version: 20190529 DS308.0

However; having looked at the complete set of Adaptation values from the Instrument cluster, it appears that there are some other service related channel values that are not reported by the VCDS SRI function for some reason.

These are:
Code:
IDE00512-ESI: minimum value km-driving distance/inspection
IDE00513-ESI: maximum value km-driving distance/inspection
IDE00514-ESI: maximum value of time between inspections
IDE00827-ESI: minimum value of time between inspections

Can I suggest the SRI function for these instrument clusters is modified to read and display these values as well, please?

Seeing ALL the values is helpful in diagnosing oddities in MMI service display. As discussed in another of my posts, I've 'discovered' that IDE03349-FIX' appears incorrect.:(
