Hello
I have to remove catalytic converters as they seem to be damaged and fractured and broken inside.
I can hear various noises from the exhaust and even saw some black powder and rigid particles throwing out of there when accelerating on highway. Besides that, VCDS is showing misfiring in various cylinders and other fault codes regarding lambda sensors.
So, I have to disassemble collectors and remove catalytic converters from there.
As I'm located in Georgia, Tbilisi, our legislation and inspection rules don't distinguish euro2/3/4/5 standards, so I'm going to avoid undue costs related to new catalytic converters.
I'm seeking for some other ways to perform this operation and finish this job with getting better performance of the engine and no "check engine" light on the dashboard.
Please, advise me what can I do and how can I use VCDS to perform this action and what else do you recommend?
