As far as the Engine Control Module Incorrectly Coded Fault, I would check the Engine coding, more specifically the Cruise Control section, as it might need to be adjusted now that ACC w/ Stop&Go is no longer a valid configuration

Also, the bytes controlling ACC and transmission type in the ABS controller might need to be updated as well

If you are curious about the MK100 ABS controller's Bits and Bytes >>MK100 ABS Coding (Google Drive)<< NOT 100% ACCURATE, INFORMATION ONLY

Thank you, the engine ecu code accepted but fault code remains.
The ABS controller did not accept the login code so could not enter new long code.

It should. What is the return message ?

You write exactly as it is shown: S12345

Check Adv. Meas Values, in search field`, write: "323" or "security", is it zero ?
    Is 40168 accepted ?
You have battery charger connected ?
Normally if a know login is not accepted, Stop VCDS, Ign. OFF for 10-20 sec., Ign. ON, try again.

I'll try the same again otherwise the 40168
    Appreciate your help.

In general, I would recommend to upgrade your VCDS interface to the new version.

Yes agree with you, its on my "to get" list.
Back to this, no login and checked 323 its sitting at 3
Leaving key off makes no difference, is there another way to clear this?
    Battery charger is connected.

Cleared the login attempts and code S12345 now works.
When pasting the new long code and entering "do it" I get error message

Long code must be same length or have same number of hexdecimal characters.

Currently trying to obtain an autoscan from a manual version of this car.
Finding owners is no problem however no one so far has vcds.
