I have a customers vehicle that I have been working on and have completed a Dq500 Swap into his 2016 Golf R. I used a company by the name of TVS engineering that handles the software side of things with the Mech unit.
So here is my issue and what I have performed.
vehicle starts and can communicate with the Mech unit, Oil level is correct, parking brake set oil temperature is above 30 deg c, I have tried this many times and get the same result. it says running and switches to not running in the adaptation screen. I then get faults codes, Issue is I have no way to follow these faults codes diagnostic wise.
I have pulled the trans out to inspect the transfer tube orings, check the preload of the cover for the clutch pack. reinstall and get the same thing. except I am now getting an additional fault P0607 (044) control module performance.
I also need to add that when you try to put in neutral or Reverse its like the transmission is locked in two gears. the output shafts do not turn at all.
Any input would be great!
