Hello,
I have a 2012 Audi A4 Allroad, The vehicle seems to have had SAT NAV enabled originally, but the display just says 'Please insert Data Medium'. I don't seem to have the original DVD or SD Card (not sure which it should be)
I have tried a 2012 SD Card from VW, but when inserted nothing happens. Does this system use SD Card for the Sat Nav or is it a DVD?

I also read that some models later than 2009 had the DVD drive locked so you can't eject once the Sat Nav disk was inserted by the dealer? Is this the case and can this be overridden with the VCDS if that is the case?

Any help or knowledge would be much appreciated!

According to THIS, you have MMI 3G High. But you can verify on your own like THAT. This should also answer your question.

Thanks, I'll have a good read of that, still unsure if the Nav data should be on the SD Card or a DVD though
