    This immediately indeed confirms my aforementioned suspicion of this for FOD!

    What does it mean? What is the FOD?

    I understand that there wouldn't be the code would come back right away. Also under the hood, there is clicking noise coming from N80 but I've read it is ok.

    It means induced tampering....... FOD!

    It also means that your aforementioned statement for SMOG devices not being deleted & as you were or led to believe, is not correct and SMOG AECD's are indeed being ignored, when so...... there are usually DTC's missing too or flags set to zero.

    I don't have any deletes. I'm running UM tune and have DV+ but everything else is stock. I have odblink lx odb2 so I will check with it. I only have 60K miles but have heard that N80 can cause it. My PCV was replaced about 15K miles ago.

    What is readiness?

    Your State of MN doesn't do SMOG testing but if your car can't run the tests with VCDS or report DTC's by the controller because VCDS only see's what the controller states.
    This can make it more difficult to repair & a reliance on mechanical & direct electrical tests will be needed.

    You are right, MN does not have tests for cars but even if it would my 2013 allroad would be just fine. DV+ doesn't do anything bad that would make a test not to pass. UM is just a stage 1. I don't think NY tests for TD1. Also, my ODBLink XL tested my allroad for readiness just fine. So I still don't understand what you mean. Here is an example, I have an older 2003 Subaru Forester. It has a small leak as well. I can reset it and it will go months before check engine light would come back.

    It is impossible for a car to be ready after a DTC reset and not being operated or driven to conduct aforementioned tests to qualify the tests be completed.
    Many states are indeed deploying new methods to detect readiness manipulation and your car has these tests manipulated electronically regardless of your opinion of a stage 1 or if the devices are being altered physically or present.
    The devices maybe present but if tests are not running they are now part of a defeat device by means of tampering.

    You can keep saying the same thing over and over but it doesn't mean it is accurate.

    I'll leave it at that and set you to ignore.

    I'm simply trying to figure out if I have a small leak or not. If I do then I'm trying to figure out which part is failing. Has nothing to do with the readiness test. There are no foreign devices here. DV+ does not alter anything. I'm not manipulating anything. What is this have to do with car to be ready? Ready for what?
