RHD to lhd 6r polo rear lights

Hi I have changed the rear lights to LHD ones but the rear fog and reversing lights are on the wrong sides. I have found the long code to change from 'RHD long code 0300184042130A7B0F244080B12703C810005B025701 If I change it to LHD long code 0000184042130A7B0F244080B12703C810005B025701 will that do the trick?

This may be a silly question, but when you say the lights are on the wrong sides, what do you mean?

Are you converting a RHD car to drive on LHD roads abroad, but the wrong bulbs are being lit, or are you retro-fitting lights that came from a LHD car onto a RHD car, to continue using it in the UK?

I live in Spain. It is a RHD car. The reversing light and rear fog opposite. I have fitted LHD rear lights but now the reversing light is red and the fog white.

As far as the operation of the 2 x lamps is concerned- these are managed by Leuchte-commands. To swap the lamps, try this (in adaptation, in the BCM):

For the Reversing light - ONLY if ENG124888-ENG115497-Leuchte28RFL C3-Light_Function_A_28 has the value Rueckfahrlicht - change to NebelschlusslichtwennkeinAnhaengergestecktundRechtsverkehr
For the rear fog light - ONLY if ENG124886-ENG115459-Leuchte26NSL A65-Light_Function_A_26 has the value NebelschlusslichtwennkeinAnhaengergestecktundRechtsverkehr -change to Rueckfahrlicht
