VW New Beetle 2000 Reflex Yellow (essentially a GLS)
Vehicle has no mods. This vehicle has been sitting non-operational since 2014. In order to get it registered a SMOG test is required so I took it to the test facility and was informed that the vehicle was not ready. Basically SAI and EVAP were the two not ready and I purchased a Hex-Net in order to test and repair the vehicle myself. After a few days and a couple of parts I was able to complete the Readiness - 15 procedures and get everything ready. I closed out VCDS and shut the vehicle off. About a half hour later I started the car up and headed out to the test facility thinking everything was ready but when I got there and the technician connected their OBD2 tool the vehicle was no longer ready.
The replacement parts are the SAIP, SAI pressure side hose and gas cap gasket. I checked the cables at the battery and they are tight. At this point I am at a loss for why the ECM changed the readiness to Failed or Incomplete and some help figuring out what's going on with my vehicle.
