No, on the picture you can see rear traffic assist - this avoid collision during moving backwards. It uses radars for side assist.

Yeah, but in practice (and also inside modules) the function is called rear cross traffic alert.

I would say it’s this one. Similar system seen already in BMWs. BMW does this with cameras and VW seems to use radars.

Well I have the Rear Traffic Assist on my Golf 8 but these are not activated:

I think downtime is correct on this.

I think this is what the crossroad assistent is :
Audi calls it intersection assistant.

If i good understand that function is controlled by A5 Front Camera. Some cameras from Passat comes with it. Part number ends with xx4 if i good remember

I don't think it's enough. Audi's have a similar radars on front as what is used for blind spot monitoring on the rear part.

Part number is 4N0907669D for both left and right side. Audi calls these as object detection control modules.
