I've got some fertiliser, diesel and un-exploded airbags. This video fails to explain whether they should be in the centre of the bonfire at before we light it, or if we should throw them on later? What do you think?
Also - best way to light a bonfire is with a "firewand"...
That one is really lame though... We used a PTO driven waterblaster on a 250HP farm tractor, drain the water tank, fill it with diesel, and put a metal stick with a burning rag onto the waterblaster nozzle..... With a welding helmet, 2 pairs of overalls and a roll in the wet grass, you had about 15 seconds of "On" time, before you had to go roll in the wet grass again to cool down
Takes about 3 minutes of intermittant flames to get the bonfire up to full throttle.
