Audi s3 2.0 tsfi 2010

Hi all I’ve got an Audi s3 2010 model with a fault code of po300 and po301 cylinder 1 misfire . Changed all spark plugs and coil packs still got same fault code engine misfire on idle and lumpy idle . I’m thinking it’s now a fuel injector but don’t want to remove the inlet manifold unless 100% sure it’s no1 injector fault can anybody advise me on this thanks .

Could be a fuel injector. Could also be something keeping a valve from closing tightly. Have you done a compression test?

Is this car FOD modified?
Please post an auto scan & after immediately clearing fault memory & than also provide the OBD2 data for 0x33 Modes 01-01, 3 , 7 & 9

What was status of old plugs please describe or provide pictures?
You absolutely have to report compression readings of all cylinders and running type test too.

If pulling VC it is advised to inspect Valve train and condition of cams or any actuators.

Are there any gross air leaks that are multiplicative at respective misfire Zyl?

At least the RNS-E has been retrofitted incompletely (fault codes suggest that it replaced a Symphony II+ and that the Bose coding/wiring change has not been properly done), so it would appear that some FOD activity has taken place.

Audi s3 2010 2.0 Tfsi lumpy on tickover
Hi all finally sorted the original fault codes were po300 and po301 cylinder no1 misfire . Changed plugs and coil packs as no1 coil pack was faulty anyway . Did a compression test all were ok . Still got bad misfire on no1 cylinder . ? Problem now solved stripped
Inlet manifold to possibly changed no1 injector , the problem turned out to be no1 cylinder swirl flap in the cylinder head had broken . You can only get these I’m told from Audi they come with a new inlet manifold at 380.00 plus vat . The cars my sons so I welded the two pieces back together clean all 4 flaps then rebuilt now the car is running mint again . I would send pics if I knew how to send them . Thanks all . Simon
