CONTROL MODULES - NO COMMUNICATIONS!?

Hi guys, first a friend of mine has been tracing wires on a 04 Skoda Fabia vRS for a completely un-related issue (for a headlight wire). Has been messing around today taking things apart in the engine bay, to try and get to the distribution box type thing behind the scuttle panel under the wiper motor. He didn't find anything interesting and didn't actually get to the box as he didn't want to take the wiper motor out, so put the car back together, but now it will not start. It cranks over, that's it. Can NOT hear fuel pump prime. Many dash lights are on (power steering, ABS, battery, handbrake etc) and some blinking, his generic code reader wouldn't communicate with the ECU so i came and had a look with my VCDS, i cant connect to engine ecu, and some others. Fault codes show as bellow from the cent. electrics module. Any suggestions? I haven't had a good look around the car as it was dark, but everything seems plugged in - any fuses to check that power the module, or relays? Thanks!

I do not have a full auto scan, as it kept "trying attempt * " on the first engine module, so i cancelled it, thinking it was just going to saying no communications - however, these are the only fault codes in any other module i could get in.
