Wrong Shift Gear shown in VC..

Have you ever seen something like that?
6 gears Manual skoda karoq
Only Gear 5 is shown like 6. , all other Gears are perfectly fine.
Neutral Sensor is replaced
Clutch sensor is replaced
Its just crasy!!

Are all parts in this car original, or has anything been retrofit, or has the software in the ECU or the cluster been modified?

The Virtual Copkit is retrofited yes, by a specialist

Seems like something is wrong with the way it calculates what gear the car is in.

I do not think there is an actual gear position sensor, but that the gear is calculated based on engine RPM vs. Road Speed.

the guy that retrofit this, believes that the Tire Circumereference might be the case, i ll keep you updated

For future reference if someone has the same problem, we changed the tire circumference by coding Virtual Copkit with VCDS and did the trick Everything is perfect so happy..
The clue is that VC thought I had big wheels
I change to the appropriate Value and everything is perfect. So the VC or Dashboard calculates the shift gear proposal and the current shift gear

I want also to report that when the 5th gear phenomenon happend i got also a Start Stop Error !!,

I am so happy this unbelievable puzzle is solved

so.....cluster wasnt replace by "specialist" as you said
specialist not leave issue like that , also they codie online, or swap adaptation from old to new inc coding
