Did I mis-tweak? Rear cross traffic

The menu has it off unchecked, but itís on. How can I get to it in VCDS to make sure it stays off?

I may have mistweaked at some point maybe and activated it independently of the menu.

    Thanks
    Chris

Look for something like a BAP or Personalization setting around fixed-on, fixed-off, or last / driver setting.

Are you sure? What's in your Debug sub-folder?

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.

Can you elaborate on what you mean, my logs are nowhere to be found, the screen has rear traffic alert unchecked, I just want to make sure this thing is really off. Thanks.

I'm not talking about the infotainment or cluster user interface of the car, you want to look at VCDS coding or adaptations. Most of the driver assist features can be configured to respect user preferences and profiles or be fixed on or off. Look at most likely 3C (RCTA uses the side assist radars) or possibly 5F or 17 if something broke there. I don't have exact block names for you as I'm away from my VWs today. I'll check tomorrow afternoon if you haven't figured it out by then. BAP is the German acronym for Operating and Display Protocol, the higher level CAN protocol used by 17 or 5F to be the user interface for functions like those in 10, 13, 3C, etc.

In the meantime, post current adpmaps of your 09, 17, 19, 3C and 5F if you're able and we can take a look at that.

Edit: CURRENT AS OF TODAY auto scan as well.
