Hello everyone. I am an owner of GOLF TGI DSG 7, which start has trasmission problem very early 10000 km.
I feel the trasmission change very soon, the engine always labouring at low rpm, a very bad response of the engine when pushing accelerator pedal.
These problems start very likely, after a bodyshop mechanich reparation, where the battery was probabily disconnected.
I lost hope in VW service, so I decided try to do adaptation by my self with a rosstech HEX V2 bought recently.
TBA was perform succesfully and now I can feel the car better.
Then an IDE 02903 [basic setting of trasmission] was selected from the scroll menu; initially the screen, shown "RUNNING" but after some minutes and some normal noise of trasmission, the "UNKNOW" message appear (with ignition ON, engine OFF), made me very concerned.
This procedure appear different from what I aspected, expecially comparing with the one on the following link: wiki-ross tech at this link http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/7-Speed_Direct_Shift_Gearbox_(DSG/0AM),
So here I don't need to set any group, eg.60 etc...
No fault codes are stored and the car seems work quite well, but always with not the best response of the engne when pressing accelerator pedal.
I found somebody who post the following procedure:
"Engine idle speed, do not press accelerator pedal
Parking brake and foot brake applied during the entire procedure. This can be confirmed using Advanced Measuring Values:
* IDE02713 Brake Light Switch
* IDE02714 Brake test switch
0D9 - DQ250 MQB - Basic Settings Procedure:
[Select]
[02- Auto Trans]
[Basic Settings-04]
Select [Basic settings of transmission]
[Show Measuring Data] and select:
* IDE00021 Engine speed
* IDE00322 Status of basic setting
* IDE00024 Transmission fluid temperature
[Go!]
- During the basic setting procedure, there may be some loud gear shifting noises from the transmission, this is normal."
In my situation , with idle engine the "UNKNOW" message is shown again and adaptation does not start: I don't know if procedure was succesfully or not, is there a more update guide please??
Many tanks!
