I have installed a genuine Audi (Westfalia) swivel towbar and wiring to my 2010 4F S6. The wiring is all correct and I have successfully added module [69] to the CAN gateway. Following the retrofit instructions on the Ross-Tech Wiki I have sucessfully coded the ABS Unit, Parking Aid and Reverse Camera for the installation.
I am having trouble though with the Engine, Engine II and ACC (Distance Regulation Coding). I have updated to the latest release of VCDS last night in the hope that there would be long coding helper for these modules in the latest version but nothing seems to come up.
I dont have any faults showing on the Engine or Engine II for the moment but the Distance Regulation is showing incorrectly coded.
The coding on the towbar module should actually be 0103030000000000 as I have the factory swivel setup with the release knob in the back. However, I have temporarily changed the coding to that shown to suppress the 'Check Towing Hitch' warning which shows on the dash and the flashing red light on the release knob. I am hoping that this will disappear once the other coding is sorted?
I have also recently installed a DAB radio unit which I am still trying to find somewhere local to remove the component protection from, hence the component protection note in my code and the SVM error.
