If VCDS could access the Secret Key Code (SKC) it would double in value.

It would be good, but i imagine the legal difficulties and also technical. The SKC must be extracted from somewhere, then there is this encryption thing that i guess is a property of some company(VW SIEMENS VDO BOSCH). Then the thing of where the skc could come, ECU or Cluster. Or even from KESSY module?

I think its just too much of work and easier would be buying such tools or, buying service.

VCDS can access security code always, but not always controler accept it due to limit access

I wasn't picking on your spelling. I generally don't do that, especially when I know someone isn't a native English speaker. I think what you mean is "VCDS can USE the SKC" rather than ACCESS it.

FARADAY,

You would need the PIN / SKC but what type of vehicle are you looking to replace the ESCL on? For instance, if this is a VW Crafter or 3C Passat / CC we have a procedure to offer you .. providing you can get the PIN extracted.

From my point of view VCDS can:
USE SKC
ACCESS SKC

but can not

RETRIEVE it from memory

this is what I was mean

I suppose in my mind (and I suspect in the mind of most more native English speakers) the meaning of the word "access" is closer to "retrieve" than to "use", at least in this context.

Note: I could be wrong. English is not my FIRST language either, however, it has been my primary language for more than 40 years now. ;-)
