Hi everyone,
Last couple of months, I've done a few retrofits. Unfortunately, a few fault codes appeared in VCDS.
1. One retrofit was parking Sensors (with MMI iconic display) rear side. Initially, as far as I could remember, no fault codes were seen.
But the next time during a check for something else. One fault was registered as shown on the picture in the following link:
Despite this error, all the four sensors (and beep) are working fine (which is also shown on the MMI display by the symbols getting closer to the car when testing)
Does someone know what the cause of this could be?
2. Recently I've retrofitted electric folding side mirros with the two door modules front 5Q0959592A + 5Q0959593A (I also had the modules with the same number in my care before but these couldn't work with the folding option when trying to turn on in VCDS, I guess not the High line so I had to replace them). Before this retrofit, my mirrors were only electric heated.
After installing, the mirrors are working fine. But in VCDS fault codes appeared about the doors back side. See pictures
At first, it said the back doos are not registered, so I check them active in the installation list in CAN module letting the car ''know'' I have back doors.
But after that it says '' cannot be reached'', however, the doors in the back are working just fine: the windows can be turned up and down individually but also from the central panel on drivers side, the ambient light in the doors are working, the child safety lock for the back window both sides are working.
Does someone recognize this problem? Could this be due to a bug ? It is kinda strange when there are fault codes like this while everything is just working fine.
If I look at the error codes, it seems to be only the drivers side.
