I was searching for descriptions for N112, N320, etc as detailed above, to hunt them down for inspection.

On searching one of them, I ran across an old post from this forum where a Q7 owner was having a similar myriad of electrical issues. His final solution was to replace the driver's side HPFP.

My driver's side HPFP has been dripping fuel for a while now, mostly just a fuel odor when stopped. This and the figure-8 oil seal under the intake that leaks are on my list, but figured I'd better look at the electrics before tackling anything mechanical.

Normally, fuse S13 was blowing immediately on startup. I replaced fuse S13, unplugged the driver's side HPFP and started the car.....no blown fuse.

All, the bulk of the problems are solved. The driver's side high pressure fuel pump was the root of blowing the fuse and driveability issues. One new fuel pump and one new fuse and much has been set right.
