    Interface not found

Yesterday it was working just fine. Today the interface is not found. When I plug it into USB it blinks green a couple of times and that's it. VCDS doesn't see the interface. Windows shows device unrecognised (vendor/device descriptor failure). Tried with 2 different PC and 3 different cars. Any suggestions?

Edit: I tried rebooting windows, reinstalled vcds, etc. No effect.

    Cheers,
    Rafal

What type of interface do you have? HEX-CAN, HEX-V2, HEX-NET or something else?

    Are you running Windows 10?

I believe he's got a HEX-V2, about two years old.

Does VCIConfig recognize it? Have a look at this thread:

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.

VCIConfig doesn't see the interface (dropdown list is empty). Windows 10 device manager tells Unknown USB Device "Device Descriptor Request Failed". I tried giving it a rest over the night but no luck.

Then I suggest you contact the local distributor you purchased it from so he can perform a physical evaluation.
