BCM / CECM upgrade to highline

Hi folks,
I have a 2012 SEAT Leon on which I have retrofitted Xenon headlights.
I know I need a 087 CECM to operate the Xenon shutters for high beam which my 086 CECM doesn't support. But it seems there are lots of different versions of the CECM with different part numbers, so I'm looking for some advice on how to find the correct part number i need to be compatible with my car.

I'm not concerned about the various fault codes yet, I've had the CECM unplugged so I'm reckoning that's where most of those fault codes are coming from.

Well there's a question! to settle this once and for all, do you really need a highline CECM to operate the shutters? i was told by Ultraxenon that they could retrofit my led bixenons on my GTD without the swap. As per my other Thread if you look through it they posted a picture of their wiring harnesses less the trigger wire cable that link into the gold connector and i think pins 47 and 48. So do they actually take power from the main beams to trigger the shutters. Both Carsystems and Kufatec both have the trigger wires. It's a mine field out there!!!!
I've also owned 2 Leon Fr's and the amount of time you're flashed is unreal.

It's definitely a mine field, I got my head lights off eBay, the listing included Kufatec looms, I've noticed on the Kufatec site they claim their loom is only compatible with the pre facelift Leon so I'm even more confused.

According to SEAT a 5K0 937 087 S0J is the correct CECM for my car, but i was hoping other versions would work. There are none ending S0J on eBay and the idea of shelling out about £400 for a new CECM makes the whole project much less compelling.

The CECM i got was from the VW main dealer £263. I did think that it is faulty so bought one from ebay from Romania at i think £60. I do have a link. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Skoda-VW-...8902?pt=US_Relays_Sensors&hash=item33831821c6 and it did come. Kufatec did send me a dongle which is supposed to code the lights once fitted, i've never used it..to scared!

So an update, I gave up on eBay and ordered a new CECM from my chassis number.
It seems when ordering a replacement CECM VW will supply a highline version regardless of what was fitted at the chassis. I was provided with 5K0 937 087 AC.

It's now fitted to my car and my full beam is working as expected.
I am getting an error about the brake/tail lights - my car was factory fitted with LED tail lights so i presume there's something needing changed in the adaptation settings
And my DRLs arent working either, again probably just Long Coding but there are that many references to DRLs I'm not sure where to begin.

What i did was to collect the long codes of retrofitted bi xenons and then make an excell spreadsheet with the bytes numbers along the top.
Then populate it, in your instance from seat forums with known working long codes. Pop yours in at the top. It makes things that easier. I did ask the question about byte 13, no drop down box. Every man and his beast have theirs set at 00...mine 04. My drls work as per factory. I still get the error, due to a couple of wires joined in the harness. A new looms, looming!
