T6 Multi function steering wheel

Hello, I have a 2017 eu6 Transporter Startline I would like to upgrade my steering wheel. Can anyone tell me what is involved to make radio and multi function display work from the wheel. I have heard that I may have to fit a non MFA wiper stalk too? Thanks

Not sure on a T6 but on a T5.1 you needed a highline BCM as the lower modules don’t have mfsw available to activate.
