Well usually only one roller rocker I see pop off but never saw two on same ZYL.

Anything is possible for a first but shear on crank or cam or broken chain sounds more likely.
Can't wait to see though, gets me excited like a wet KESSY!

I did send the injectors out for ultrasonic cleaning, the cleaners said one would not stop leaking after shut off...

    I ordered a new one.

Very late post here, read the first page and watched the video. Lot of labour time gone on there to see that event taking place. DSO and a relative compression test would show a cylinder inefficiency fault and which cylinder within a few seconds. Equipment available (WPS 500x) you could prove the valve train operation within a few seconds and check each valve in each cylinder. You'd also see events like valve timing, exhaust back pressure and cylinder compression's of each cylinder.

Well, the car is back on the road, ended up taking it to a local VW shop I have been going to for years.

New - Intake cam, cam follower, rocker arm, and associated parts.
Not a cheap repair but the car feels great.

Thanks for the help, this seems to be the last useful forum alive.
