Hi, first post! Which of the 16 pins are actually used by interfaces such as HEX-NET, HEX-CAN, etc and which ones are completely floating?
Porsche (on the Cayenne) and Lambo (on the Gallardo) used non-standard pins for some systems in the previous decade as well, as did MBZ/VW on the LT35 for the MBZ modules (everything except 01-Engine and 25-Immo).Some older cars, such as my other drive (a Citroen C1) have a VERY non-standard pinout - because don't have an equivalent to a CAN gateway so each module with a diagnostic connection is connected to separate pins on the 16-pin connector.
What's missing from the diagram (thanks zenerdiode) is a connection to pin#15 for Terminal 15 supply (i.e. switched +12Volt with ignition turn-on/off)
