Audi s4 b6 ABS Control Module Incorrectly Coded 01044
Hi i changed my control module in my Audi , after adapting codes everything went smooth , login, coding, i cleared the codes except the code 00287 ABS wheel speed sensor , rear right ( g44) which was changed last week to brand new one , i took the car for a spin came back to the garage to rescan the ABS module when i was doing that my car battery died o well I charged the battery , hooked up vag com cable scanned ABS module again , and what happened ABS Control Module Incorrectly Coded 01044 , i tried few times already scan and rescan steering wheel angle and still can’t clear that code , any one please advise what else i can do to clear the code , thanks in advance

Are you sure that 8E0 614 517 A is the correct ABS part number for this car?

And it clearly is coded incorrectly. It's coded for a 4 or 5 cylinder gasoline engine and an Automatic Trans. Have a look here and be sure to watch the video at the bottom of the page.

Hi Uwe no the part it is not the part from the s4 i bought from the a4 abs pump number was 8E0 614 517 A mine is 8E0 614 517 Q i thought i can adapt the module to S4

Maybe... 517Q is for 8-cylinder quattro, 517A is for 4- and 6-cylinder quattro.

517 Q it is for 8 cylinder quattro , i was thinking the pump its self not the module i guess I wasn’t right and the module can not be adapted from A to Q

I found the module matching my numbers but i have my car in manual transmission and that module is from automatic transmission is that gonna work ? Please let me know

No, I think if it's the right part number, it can be coded to work per the instructions on the page I linked to.

This is my original part number the pump and the module 8E0 614 517 Q and module part number is 481075 0 265 950 106
This is from someone’s Audi i can purchase , pump number 8E0 614 517 Q and module number 112021 0 265 950 106, you think that might work without any coding problems ? , please advise
