Because that BS Group is already selected and running. If you place your cursor in the TextBox with '001' in it; clear out the 001, re-enter it, the [Go!] button will now be Enabled to run BS on that group.

Yup, looks like the last button he clicked was [Up], which implicitly does a [Go!] on the next group.

The fact that field 3 shows "OK" also means it did the Basic Setting successfully. The scan also shows a Coding: 06397, so I'm not sure I understand what the problem is, other than he needs to carry out the System Function Test.

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.

Thanks for all your help, performed system function test and all lights went away and abs is now successfully coded

it was confusing as I was under the impression it would run some sort of test that took a few seconds. It should be noted that all you really have to do is go to 001 in basic functions - & it doesnít matter how you get there

(pressing go is only necessary if you type 001 in the box; as just pressing the arrow up to one does the same exact thing) ... now to bleed the abs pump :0)
