Hi,

Looking for some help with disabling the exhaust flaps on a new S3. When I untick Bit 2 (Exhaust Flaps Installed) in the Long Coding Helper and try to save I get the following error: "Coding rejected Error 31: Request out of range". This coding works on 2018 and older models.

I’ve tried both v18.9.1 and beta v19.1 with a HEX-V2 interface. I can save other coding changes to this module successfully.

Thanks

Peter

It is possible that Audi has made changes to the ECU software that prevent this change now.

Yes, I did think perhaps that may be the case now that they've fitted a GPF, but was hoping not. Bit of a bummer if you fit a valveless after market exhaust.

Open the hood before starting your work. Audi A3 MY19 has diagnostic firewall.

Next thing is, sometimes the coding for the exhaust flaps gets only accepted when you unplug the connectors of the flap motors first.
