How can I read the MAF?
The control modules in my vehicle is UDS. I found many tutorials but are non UDS.

The following measuring values should available in that ECU:

IDE00347-ENG167462 -- Air mass: actual value: (OBD, so likely g/s)
IDE00350-ENG99082 -- Air mass: specified value - MAF_SP_MMV (mg/stroke)
IDE03949-ENG103150 -- Air mass: actual value - MAF_MMV,LINEAR (mg/stroke)

To make them easier to find, type Air mass into the search/filter box.

Depends what you exactly you are trying to accomplish.

In general, the best way on a diesel is to log specified and actual while driving under a variety of conditions.

What makes you think you have a possible MAF failure?

About 2 days ago, my wife started the car in the morning and she managed to drive less then 1 mile and the car lossed the power and the engine died. She started the car few times and it happend again. 5 minutes later the car was fine, even now is alright. I’ve scan with VCDS and I can’t find any fault.

It can but is very rare!

This sounds like a fuel or contaminated fuel issue, would be wise to check/change filter and TV function.

Check all ground points and battery connections!

Check motor mounts and for torn intake/charge boots!

I changed all filter 2 months ago. I’m using only Shell diesel. I’ll check all the ground points.
