I am trying to enable coming / leaving home for a Skoda Octavia II PD model year 2007, but all of my actions were futile.
Using Long coding I am able to see I have Rain/Light sensor installed option checked. I can see the rain sensor installed on the windshield and I have some splits in the rear mirror frame and one switch that lights a led when pressed.
I used VCDS to enable Comming home option, then used the MFD to adjust time intervals. Since it was not working, I used to enable Daytime Running Lights for Scandinavia and it was working. I tried with Coming Home Personalisation/Lightsensor but no luck.
I was in the night but I had a few road pole lights far away from the car, but not close to it so it was still some dark around but not pitch black.
My expectation was to see the low beam lights on after locking the car. I read on some forums that one may need a light switch with an aditional AUTO position plus some wire from BCM to it.
So, am I doing something wrong or do I need some other options enabled? Do I need to test it in pitch black environment? If so, what sensor should be covered to trick the BCM: the rain one or the rear mirror one?
