    Touareg air gaps

    Hi,
I have watched EWES video on grinding in epb shoes but am not 100% clear whether the air gap is set by the VCDS or do you have to set it manually on the adjustable nut on the hubs before starting the grinding in process using the VCDS. If Iím replacing pads and discs along with shoes do I need to replace all parts assembly with wheels on and start process as per video or manually adjust air gap, verifying on VCDS wheels off then when correct air gap then proceed with grind in.

I'm not sure exactly what parts should be replaced, but adjusting the air gap is done mechanically, and then verified with a scan too.

    PS: Have you been here?
The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.
