HOW to exchange rear doors modules control on a 2015 passat B8

Hello, I'll change the two rear doors control modules 5Q0 959 395 by new 5Q0 959 595 which controls new features like ambient light.
My question is how to proceed?
Is it possible to not disconnect the battery, just switch off ignition, keyless far away?
Are any adaptations needed after mounting new modules?

Don’t overthink as rear door modules shouldnt be such sensitive modules that you should disconnect the battery. Simply erase the faults in other modules after doing the swap. Cant say anything about the coding/adp though.

This is a straightforward change, however make sure you copy the coding and any adaptations from the old modules. I'm not clear on what you question is about window adjustment, if it's about opening and closing then I wouldn't worry.
