    EGR mecanical problems

    hello ross-tech, I'm new, a question to those who have encountered the problem, whether this valve egr is or does not work with vacuum, sorry and thanks

    Since this question seem to have nothing to do with VCDS, moving to General VW/Audi Repair.

    The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.

    Without a number or car ID we cannot be sure, but my thoughts are that this is a pure electronic EGR and the pipe is just to allow the exhausting of air from the valve movement. How many pins are in the connector?

    6 pins, and that pipe connects to the intake air filter cap... the car is a skoda fabia 2004 1.2l 12v... I know there are 2 types of valves egr one with vacuum and another only air filter, in the book says that that pipe would be for the vacuum but do not know them so well ..

    Yes it is an electric egr valve.
