Hi all,
had a problem last week as some of you might have noticed with lost coding from abs controller which was sorted,
but the reason i had THAT problem is i was trying to get to the bottom of THIS problem.
Few weeks ago customer went to start this car and dashboard was completely dead no lights, starts,runs stops.
couple of checks later found the recovery guy who brought the car in to us had put fuse no1 back into fuse number two under bonnet fuse box,
so once i swapped it back everything was normal but why did it fail in the first place ?
Had the dashboard sent away to be tested and no fault found,
customer had it back for a week before it played up again but this time the warning lights were flashing / flickering when ignition switch on and the dashboard making a ticking noise,
sent dashboard off again for retesting and again no fault found, had it back plug back in - everything fine for about ten minutes now back to flickering warning lights.
anybody had anything like this before ? any help would be appreciated thanks.
