14 AN VW CC hill hold adjust

I have a 14 AN VW CC with a manual 6 speed. I've used the hill hold, by setting the parking brake, then setting off in 1st gear like normal. It seems to take a fair bit of slipping before the brake actually releases.

Is there a way to adjust the required tension to release?

Also- sorry if this is a re-post. I was having trouble finding information on this car.

Seems like there ought to be. And I have a vague recollection that I've seen channels (or codings?) in other cars that allow some adjustment of the auto-hold behavior, but I'm not seeing it in this car.

If someone else knows something I don't, please chime in.

I know in MQB cars auto-hold is actually the brake pressure being kept on by the ABS module, not the parking brake engaging. There are some adaptation channels in the ABS module to adjust that behaviour. But TS’s ABS unit seems to be an older one, so im not sure if the ABS module is actually involved in the auto-hold functionality and if it has any relevant coding or adaptation channel options.

Right, but MQB cars also have the EPB (assuming they have EPB; not all MQBs do) integrated into the ABS module. This car still has a separate EPB module.

But I've looked in the ABS too.
