It certainly doesn't appear in the Individual menu on my MQB platform Skoda Octavia - nor can I see any adaptation channels to enable it...

A full Auto-Scan of the car pictured in the first post would be useful.

^^^ Dave:I agree -there is only one way to "manually" enable/deactivate SS on an MQB vehicle, and that way is to earth the appropriate BCM pin (which is T73c/ 60 on a mk7) -SS is actually triggered by the leading/trailing edge of the falling/rising voltage on the BCM pin.

Of course there is always the "unofficial" way which is to fool SS system be tweaking operational criteria like "temperature" and "voltage" thresholds . Happy to be told otherwise

That's very true, but not all that adejme is asking...

He also wants to know whether a setting to enable/disable start/stop can be added into the Individual menu on the infotainment system on an MQB platform car.

is possible start stop system settings in infotainment drive mode selection

it's probably all about loading a modified firmware to the gateway. VCDS cannot flash modules, and we don't have answers (obviously) for other cables.

^^ hmm............. yes, it's clearly possible to "modify" the SS disable trigger on a MQB vehicle via the OBD port (see HERE) - so presumably some form of CAN message can be sent to one of the control modules for this purpose (sans firmware modification). BUT - this is very different to sending the command via the MIB (which I presume would involve setting-up a user-interface as well as the requisite CAN messages.

Did anyone ever played around with the FPA_MO_StSt bit in the MQB gateway coding?
This could do some tricks...
