Some time ago support sent me a new replacement usb cable for my HEX+CAN as I was having some issues and it was fraying near the usb connector. Today as I am soldering it onto the HEX+CAN circuit board I notice the replacement cable has an extra black wire attached to the cable shield that the old cable did not have. So old cable had 4 wires, new cable has 5, what should I do with the exta wire that is connected to the usb shielding?
