Good evening. I have a problem with a VW polo 6r 1200 TDI CFWA. The DPF indicator with MIL indicator light and pre-heating indicator lights up and the fault is present in ECU: " 15513-duration of regeneration of diesel particulate filter "P2458 00 (191). There are no further failures in memory, and the temperature sensors function correctly as both hot and cold indicate all three of the same temperatures. I've already replaced the differential pressure sensor for safety. Analyzing the exhaust gas temperatures I realized that never fail to sweat the 400 degrees and even the engine temperature is struggling to get to 90 degrees. My diagnosis is a broken or permeable EGR valve that lets the exhaust gas pass into the suction by compromising the temperature rise of the exhaust gases. What do you think? By checking the cold temperature values ​​I realized that 2 temperature sensors indicated 8 ° Celsius and the temperature sensor downstream of the filter emitted 6 ° Celsius. So I started the regeneration and started the LOG. The temperature downstream of the filter has not reached 400 ° C, while the other two have reached 600 ° / 700 ° c. So I replaced the sensor downstream of the filter and then, repeating the regeneration, the temperature went over 500 and then when all three sensors had similar temperatures and in any case higher than 500 °, in less than 5 minutes the value of the CALCULATED PARTICULATE is down from 25g to 5 g and the regeneration is complete .. So summarizing ... THE VALUE OF THE CALCULATED PARTICULATE does not go down if the entire body of the filter does not exceed 400 ° c and only then does the ECU drop it 5 g , completing the regeneration. It would be nice if you could install the English version of VCDS. You can have it beside your Italian version.

It's not uncommon for the G450 sensor to fail. This is the DPF differential pressure sensor. It's located on a bracket on your fuel filter.
Perhaps you can have a look at it. Otherwise, your particle filter might have failed but i think it's a bit early after 140k km.
