Was the gateway new or used? I had similar problem with some modules, but the problem was in modules itself. If I check your VIN, last index AC must be the right one for you. But with special software code Z0C.

It was a new gateway purchased from a VW dealer for my VIN. The part number they identified and sold to me was 5Q0907530AC-Z00.

Checked the site again just now and it says Z0C was replaced by Z00.

I see you say you have tried 2 HIGH gateway. Both have this problem about the "technical error has occured".
The normal way to do this is:

- Guided Functions
- Replace Control Module

Normally I work like this:

- KS Master gateway remove component protection
- Function Enable Status, input 19
- Control module SVM ( this will parameterize the gateway and make adaptions and codings)

If you send gateway to me I can make also activation, but let's check this first.

Let me know.

Regards

I don't have access to ODIS myself, so I rely on others who do. I used an independent authorized VW dealer out of the UK who did the procedure remotely and he confirmed he did what you're describing above.

We initially tried the used gateway, and when the fault occurred we didn't analyze it further but we switched to the new gateway. I am confident the fault we got with the new one is the same we had with the used gateway, which would indicate it is not gateway related.

Do you have an idea what the problem is based on my post #19 above?

If you're confident you can activate the CCS with the gateway out of the car, I can certainly mail it to you.

As I explain. I have this problem also with acc sensors. Never with gateway.

I can activate that, but what options have the car more? Mode function?

Sorry, I must have missed where you explained it.

The car is very basic. No mode function. It has a multi function steering wheel, rain and light sensing wipers, 55 Headlight Range module, 69 Trailer module.

Update: Cruise control FeC has been reactivated remotely and CCS is now working again as it should. All faults are gone. Headlight leveling is working. I am enjoying the nice, bright LED headlights.

Taking a break before figuring out my next project ...

did you restore fecs to gateway? What did you replace your mib1 with, a hacked mib unit?

can you please provide an autoscan of the current situation? I might be able to help you remotely.
