    Fog light delete audi B7

    Good day need to switch off fog light warning as i fitted DTM bumper.
    Channel 16 gives error.

    The bulb failure warning system on the B7 cannot be programmed, so the only solution is to fit suitable value (resistance AND power) resistors in place of the now missing fog light bulbs.

    Hmm...

    For front fogs, there's Adaptation Channel 16:
    Fog Light Cold Diagnosis
    0 = Fog Light Cold Lamp Diagnosis active
    1 = Fog Light Cold Lamp Diagnosis inactive (i.e. for DTM Edition)

    Provided he never turns them on (ideally by installing a switch that doesn't allow it), this might get him where he needs to be.

    Good point! I had forgotten about the special case of the front fog lamp diagnosis...

    Scratching head. It's possible your CECM variant simply doesn't have that channel. How about other documented channels? Do they show?
