Audi Q3 EPB issue

Hi guys new VCDS user here so please be kind/patient

I have a 7/2014 Audi Q3 that was bought to me for repair. The car doors were opened when the car stalled in a flood puddle leaving water to enter the car up to just below the lower seat cushion. I had managed to strip the car get everything working except the electric park brake. At the time I had a carman scanner and had diagnosed a faulty EPB switch,I purchased a new switch and got it working however after leaving the car sit for 15 minutes the left channel would fault. To get it working I had to cycle the ignition off them on once and it would come good but return after the next 15 minutes of “off” time. I suspected a faulty left channel relay so replaced it (located on the module board) not really much better I’d decided to replace the module with a second hand unit and I was told the incorrect information that you could swap the module from car to car without any conflicts. I got an EPB module with the same part number from a 2013 model plugged it in and worked out it did indeed to be coded. I noticed the soft coding number on the second hand unit was “0010000” I also noticed other fault codes (abs) I refitted the original unit got the soft code out of it and entered it into the second hand unit....now even the original unit wasn’t working correctly at ANY stage after plugging in the secondhand unit i assumed something else in the car has been screwed up by reading the incorrectly coded secondhand module initially.
Moving forward I have now bought rosstech hex can and run a VCDS scan with both the original and secondhand EPB modules first I will post the scan using the original EPB module

I'm not sure what's up with the EPB system in this car, but will comment on this:

Things don't usually work that way. I.e. an incorrectly coded module doesn't mess up other modules. Now there may be "sympathy faults" in other modules complaining about faults in the incorrectly coded module, but those should be easily clearable.

Yes, given that it's all the same, software part number, hardware part number, software version, etc, I would think it should work. But it is a used module, right?

It states in The EPB link that I MUST have a scan before replacing which I didn’t have the VCDS at that time ....so looking at the scan uwe can you see that I have lost the abs code? Sorry but as stated above I’m new to all this &#55357;&#56866;
