Hi, I’m trying to set a 70mph limiter in a customers van. I have used the log in code of 12233 to access the adaption channel 7. The current limit is 255kmh! The stored value is 300. In the drop down menu at the top I have only 3 choices (speed limiter, immobiliser and another immobiliser) when I choose the speed limiter it won’t let me change the value from 300 as if I do change it, the test and save buttons grey out. Am I doing anything wrong or can this vehicle simply not have a limiter applied? Thanks,mark.

You realize that if you manage to do this, it is most likely irreversible?

Hi uwe, yes I’m aware that it can’t be reversed without remapping in the future but the van is for a customer, and they understand this too. I will take a scan now and hopefully we can work this out. Thanks for your help

Seems like it should indeed be Adaptation Channel 7 in that ECU.
However, I'm puzzled by:
What makes you think the limit is 255 when the stored value is 300? Surely a ~100hp AXB engine cannot push this van to anywhere near 255 km/h.

The actual data block states the max speed as 255kmh but the value set is 300. Ive just been informed that the van has indeed been remapped several years ago so I’m thinking it may of had its max speed limit altered, although a ~130ish bhp t5 has no hopes of ever achieving that speed anyway. I will load a standard file back on to the Ecu with our kess and see if the value changes. Will be interesting to see what affect that has!
