Display of "sensor for reducing agent fill level" may be misreading

I have a 2011 Touareg TDI and have checked the DEF level under "advanced measuring values"/"sensor for reducing agent fill level" and it displayed 80.40% and fluctuated up to 80.42%. Oddly I watched a youtube video and this and his displayed the same thing. I then added 9.5L of DEF and checked the sensor for reducing agent fill level and it displayed the same thing again with no change.

PS: We've seen this ~80% stuff in a number of different TDIs with Adblue. I believe at one point, we checked with ODIS and it shows the same thing for that value. Unfortunately, we don't have such a TDI on-site at the moment to check with ODIS again.

I don't see anything else in there that looks like it might be the amount of DEF in the tank. :(

The older CAN protocol 3.0L Q7 and T'reg required key on, engine off for a certain time frame before the level would refresh. That's similar to the hood needing to be opened and closed before the MMI/radio oil level will refresh.

You might want to re-check that in a day or two after the system had had a chance to self-test to see if the advanced measuring value happens to increase.
