    2010 skoda fabia 1.6 tdi setting up new turbo boost actuator ? limp code P2564

    replaced turbo actuator with similar fault to the one now present, diaphragm had hole, no movement with vacuum.
    initially set rod in similar position with thread count, checked with gauge initial movement locked at 0.17 bar.
    workshop notes a bit confusing, with which sequence to lock rod in position.
    on first road test seemed ok, customer back a day later with apparently the same fault,
    diaphragm in tact, lever moves freely, rechecked settings, seemed to be correct.
    noticed goes into limp at low rpm, might just be light carbon build up?

    anyone have an installation sequence for a new actuator?

    log below, faults will clear but come back on road test after a couple of miles.

    Do you mean the turbo adaption in basic settings ? Yes, logged in revs rose, checked measuring blocks for anything turbo related, couldn't see any changes happening, the be display said, running, no display, not sure what that means. Let it run for 5 mins,it didn't finish it's cycle, so shut everything down, then after 5 mins tried a second time, similar senario, no change in the blocks, can't find any notes for a procedure.

    Is car FOD modified?

    Basic settings must be completed & manually control the rod to verify it can make boost by checking in blocks or even lineraize the rod yourself indeed can work during the ADP some have reported to me.

    Verify full mechanical travel and sweep or control of the VNT.
