    Question Hello from Austria

    Hello

I'm a mechanic at MAN Trucks in Austria.
I use VCDS for my Private cars
And I'm happy with it, it's a really nice program
My question is: Is it possible to use VCDS on the new MAN TGE? or other MAN Trucks TGX/TGS/TGM/TGL?

    Thanks
    Rgds Chris

Ps: Sorry, My English is no so good

It will not plug in even because of obd protection.

    12V vs. 24V

    Oh thats right
I forget that the HEX-v2 just work on 12V
But on the TGE ? it's like the VW Crafter.

I have a fuzzy recollection that the TGE is really just a re-badged Crafter and works fine.

If it plugs it, try it.

If it works, post an Auto-Scan.

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.

    Yes that's right

    Normally it should work
I will try it this week if we get one in the shop and post an Auto-scan if it works

I would build a male-to-female OBD wiring with one of these in-line
