Hi All,
I was looking to get replacement Keys for my A4. A locksmith stated that the B7 keys would work.
Long story short he cam cut 2 B7 keys, programmed the chips but cannot program the remotes.
In further investigation on numerous Audi sites I found the B7 key can be programmed for the 2003 and above. I seems that the 2002 has a different CCM that wont accept the commands form the B7 remote fob. So no charge to me from Locksmith as he failed to deliver.
My CCM module is 8E 959 433 AD.
I also read that some have changed the CCM with a Newer one, from a 2003 or above and the remote works. Yes they had to re program it with the values from the old one.
My question is what module can I use for a upgrade?
Any help would be certainly appreciated.
