I saw on some newer cars a start/stop system behaving like:
When you press the brake hard, it shuts the engine off and doesn't start it even if you remove your foot from the brake pedal. But then if you press the gas pedal it turns it back on.
Currently my start/stop system shuts engine off even if I'm barely pressing the brake pedal (it automatically shuts it off a few seconds after the car stops on traffic light for example), and it automatically starts the engine when I remove my foot from the brake pedal, and it's irritating.
Is it possible to code the Q5 to shut engine off only if the brake pedal is pressed hard?
I saw that I can code the power steering to stay on when start/stop shuts engine off but I'm not sure if this is possible too?
