Hi All - just replaced my OEM battery with a duracell AGM one at 30k miles. Under battery type in adaptation, which one do I want? Binary-AGM is an option, but so is fleece, which some hints on google might be a translation issue with the german for glass fiber mat?

Currently using Binary-AGM, no issues, but would like to know what the Binary- prefix is all about.

Thanks!

Good question. Unfortunately, I don't know the answer. If it were mine, I would try both and observe voltages at the battery with a volt meter. Then I would stick with whichever one is closer to the charging specs for whatever battery I was using.

It's kind of annoying to try measure exact charging voltage, since it is constantly adjusted and thanks to recuperation, car doesn't even try to fully charge the battery.

I'm using Binary-AGM on my Audi A3 8V and it seems to work just fine. Of course interested to hear if someone is willing to test other options and make measurements.
