    RS6 C6 battery drain

    Hi guys Iím after some help locating my battery drain issue. Do I need more than just vcds to track it down I have a new battery on the way and I donít want to fit it and damage the new battery. I will do a full scan and put the results up as well.

    You'll need to use proper old fashioned fault finding to work out what is draining the battery - download the WDs from erwin then check the volt drop across fuses to determine which circuit is drawing the current.

    And out of curiosity what figures would I be looking for testing across the fuses ? How will I know what acceptable vs to high of a load ? Sorry for my ignorance mechanical is more my thing than electrics

    One that stands out as having a much higher voltage drop than the others.

    The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.
