Since he's using unregistered shareware, it won't do a complete scan; it will stop after finding two or three modules.

Then again, since he's using VCDS-Lite on what looks to be an Mk.5 Jetta, VCDS won't find anything beyond the ECU and TCU anyway, because everything else requires a direct CAN connection, which VCDS-Lite doesn't support.

Bottom line: VCDS-Lite isn't the right tool for the job at hand.

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.

    Thanks.
I have already replaced the burned fuse and is working. The power supply can not maintain the 15 A constant load of the car.
The 2 reports are the only ones I received.
Now I have good news the 2005.5 Jetta will never have any lights with the key in the on position.
I have 2 pages from the VW schematics and I will try to see if I will be lucky tomorrow.
I tried to send my incomplete scan but I had no luck. Is any other hosting service better available?.
    Let me know.

Uwe Thanks for remind me to get the software. Let me finish all the necessary repairs and I will bye the software soon.

You don't need to use a hosting service if it's a text or CSV file - just copy and paste it in a post, preferably between CODE tags.

If it's a picture file (not good for scans) then I use imgur for hosting them and the Insert Image icon or IMG tags.

    Hi.
    Some updates.
First all the colors that my pages have are not visible in the first and second harness of J519.
The colors are very bad and I am very disappointed to see not good quality wires.
Finally I made the starter to work it turns nice but the car is not starting, the trouble was bad connection pin on the startup relay socket.
I checked on the fuel port and it was full of gasoline.
I tried to take the spark plugs out but it was late and cold.
Tomorrow I will continue to see that the spark-plugs are in good shape.

    Hi.
I proved today what fuse can cause the engine not to start depending on the year that the car was build.
Jetta is a good example the 2004 uses SB51 the 2005 uses SB49.
Now I know my car was build in late 2004 it uses SB51.
It works and now I will start to close some parts that I opened to troubleshooted .

    Hi all.
I did not have an error on the Jetta's display before now I have EPC.
    This causing no acceleration.
Can I fix the accelerator petal if is bad?.
Let me know if this is possible.

Trying to guess the cause of your EPC error without seeing an Auto-Scan (or even just the engine ECU part) is a bit like playing "whack the mole"... as there any many, many causes of an EPC light

    OK.
    The car works.
Now time for the 2 A leaks
Youtube has 2 cases of remedy 1) the air flow mass 2) the acceleration pedal.
They are well explained and they had good results.

    Hi All.
    Some more updates.
For the people that have the original clamp from VW to the air mass manifold change it to a regular clamp.
This clamp caused air leakage and gave me the EPC error too much air.

    Hi All.
The new year already started but the Jetta is still not done.
I can start the car but now I have some errors and of course the engine light.
In the local store they had a meter to check the VW cars for $15.00 because they said was not working.
I made it to work and I can play with the errors. This meter has no capability reading the can buss it fails.
So I will open again the J519 because I have one more unit that was taken from a working jetta on accident.
I tried this unit but it stops because my keys are from my car, is called immobilizer error for this I need the can buss reader that I do not have.
Errors that I have all the oxygen sensors fail and also the J17 and the J271 relays.
Uwe has a nice cable witch includes the software that I need to see the proper errors and the can buss.
I also have a radio that work without sound protection action the radio is from a very young Jetta that has a different VIN. I hope I can fix this.
    Until the next time.
